Vincent Livingston

I was born on May 16, 1926 in Port Jervis, New York. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy on September 15, 1944 and was discharged on April 30, 1946.

I married June, on December 4, 1949. We have three sons, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One of our grandsons is in the Navy R.O.T.C.

I retired from Metropolitan Life Insurance, and I drove a school bus for 14 years. In church I am a Eucharistic Minister and sing in the choir.  I am also a Eucharist Minister at our hospital.

I received the Bronze Pelissa and Saint George Award in St. Patrick's Cathedral. I am a Life Member, in the Tri State Naval 7241 V.F.W., for 55 years. I held the position of Captain for two years, and Past County Commander for one year.

 I am a Member of the Veteran's Committee of the Orange County Legislature,and The American Legion where I have been Chaplain for over 20 years. I was the National Camp-Di-Aid to National Commander for one year.    I have been in the Boy Scouting Program for over 60 years, and have served on the Executive Committee for our Council and all positions in levels below. I have been Awarded the Silver Braves in Scouting. I am supposed to be retired, but teach Adult Leadership in Scouting and in my church.
