Reunion 1992

Our Sixth U.S.S. Nassau Reunion was held in Boston, Mass. at the Marriott Newton Hotel from October 6th to the 10th, 1992. Since this was the 50th Anniversary of the Commissioning of the U.S.S. Nassau, on August 20, 1992, we had some special t-shirts made just to commemorate the occasion.

Our Boston City Tour included The Hancock Tower, Bunker Hill, The Old North Church, and going aboard The U.S.S. Constitution.

On October 8th, we went to Cape Cod to watch the harvesting of the cranberries; went aboard the Mayflower II; saw Plymouth Rock; and visited Plymouth Plantation. We had lunch at the 1620 Restaurant which served clam chowder and deep fried clam strips.
